Alejandra Alcaraz
Girasoles Founder & Director
Ale is a native Spanish speaker from México. Through her passion for social justice and accessibility to high-quality early education for all children, she discovered and fell in love with Montessori education while completing her Masters at Northeastern University. Starting in the summer of 2017, Ale pursued her AMI Primary Montessori training in New England and received her AMI diploma in the summer of 2019. In 2022, Ale pursue her AMI Infant and Toddler 0-3 Diploma from Montessori Stoppani training center. She holds a BA in Human Relations from the Universidad del Valle and a Masters in International Relations.

In 2018, Ale founded Girasoles Massachusetts Montessori Parent-Child Program, which supports families from low-income backgrounds by offering free Montessori weekend classes. Ale lives in Western MA with her husband and daughter.

Sarahbean Falo is an AMI-certified Montessori Guide (age 0-3, also known as Assistants to Infancy). She cares deeply about the parent-child relationship in the first 3 years of life. Sarahbean believes that parenthood can bring tremendous opportunities for connection and growth. The Montessori method provides the reflective tools and practical skills to build a secure attachment and promote a sense of wonder and delight in everyday experiences with your child.
Sarahbean is also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Parent Consultant in the state of MA, a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist in the state of NY, and Director 2 certified by the EEC in the state of MA.
